I’m Tom Lawson, an editor and freelance journalist based in Brighton. I mainly specialise in stories on the environment, human rights, and ethical and social justice issues.
Since starting work as a freelance writer in January 2014 my writing has appeared in publications including The Guardian, New Internationalist, Positive News, Open Democracy, Yes! Magazine, Occupy, The Outdoor Adventure Guide, Truthout, International Political Forum and Soapbox.
I am also assistant editor at Positive News after joining as an intern in 2012.
As well as writing I also have experience in sub-editing and proof reading and have a keen interest in photography, with several of my published articles accompanied by my own photographs.
